Phoenix Seagaia Resort presents "Pirates' Adventure Beach"
Appearing at Sun Beach Hitotsuba on July 1, 2008!
Phoenix Seagaia Resort (Hamayama, Yamazaki-cho, Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture, president and CEO: Tetsu Yamada), in cooperation with events and other activities held at Sun Beach Hitotsuba in the Miyazaki Seaside Park adjacent to the resort’s lodging facility Luxze Hitotsuba, will be presenting the Pirates’ Adventure Beach for a two month period from Tuesday, July 1, through Sunday, August 31, 2008.
Sun Beach Hitotsuba has become one of the most outstanding park facilities in Miyazaki Prefecture consisting of the South Beach, which opened in 2001, as well as the North for the enjoyment of marine sports, which opened in 2006. The resort has been operating a shuttle bus in the park during the summer season only between lodging facilities at Seagaia and Sun Beach Hitotsuba for guests who enjoy sea bathing. We have heard opinions, etc., through questionnaires and interviews and have continued to examine ways to further enhance the appeal of this wonderful public beach. We will now be presenting the summer season event Adventure Beach in cooperation with a portion of independent activities sponsored by the Sun Marine Group (NPK Co., Ltd. & Ad-Plus Co. Ltd.), the designated manager of the South Beach.
The Pirates’ Adventure Beach will be set up with a family of pirates as the program characters (※) and, with Sun Beach Hitotsuba divided into three segments, unprecedented programs and services will be provided to visitors to ensure their enjoyment of sea bathing and marine sports.
First of all, with the North Beach for the enjoyment of marine sports as the Pirates’ Fighting Arena, visitors will challenge a variety of rides including paddle boating, canoeing and other ride vehicles.
Next, with the South Beach for the enjoyment of sea bathing as the Pirates’ Training Area, a place will be provided for small children to enjoy the various types of play equipment set up there.
Then, sales of Pirates’ Seafood that can only be enjoyed there and drinks prepared by Sheraton’s chef, who will demonstrate his skills in a special trailer house that will be set up there, as well as the rental of beach parasols, beach mats, floats, swimming tubes and other items will be featured in the area located generally in the center between the two beaches as the Pirates’ Fortress. In addition, marine program reception and event information will also be provided here.

STEAK

An honest super-pirate who deserted the pirate band because he was uncooperative with them and hated evil! He built a fortress on the Hitotsuba coast in order to form his own band of pirates for the purpose of love and peace and is currently involved in training pirates. He is an exceptionally passionate person who fell in love with Marmalade while running away.
MARMALAD

She originally was a gal and her interests are fashion and fingernail art.
As a charismatic gal though living out in the countryside, she also frequently appears in magazines. She met Steak and married him against the wishes of her parents.
She is a super-mama earnestly intent on love whose favorite phrase is “love and peace!”
PISTACHIO

The child of Steak and Marmalade, he liked games more than being out under the sun. He was scolded by his parents for being overweight and all of his games were taken from him.
He is a super-kid who was found to have excellent motor coordination once he became involved in special training on the beach! His eye patch is a showy eye patch of “unlickable” fashion.
